This week Kimberly sits down with Jenna Gallaway, a USC senior, hammer thrower, and Team USA U20 World Championship qualifier, for a conversation about how she went from never having touched a hammer to competing at the highest level in the sport, and how her faith carried her through the setbacks along the way.

Jenna opens up about the winding path that got her to USC (a last-minute coaching connection, a coach who relocated to the exact facility she now trains at, and a recruiting spot that opened up days before her deadline), and how she's learned to hold her plans loosely because "the other path to your right or your left might be way better than what you think." She also gets real about the hardest moment of her career so far: finishing third at U20 trials by centimeters after being the favorite to win, and the month of waiting that followed before she found out she'd made Team USA after all.
